Sidoarjo Regency Meaning of Symbols

Sidoarjo regency symbol consists of five parts :

1. A square of five irregularly shaped sides of the curly braces
symbolize : Philosophy Pancasila, which also means that the people of Sidoarjo regency has implemented the teachings of Pancasila with the orderly and definite,

2. A five-pointed star
symbolize : Almighty God, which describes the life of his divinity/religious people Sidoarjo Regency

3. A rice, grains of eighteen lace and a rod of five segments with a spherical shape
symbolizes : earth's most important in Sidoarjo regency. While the spherical shape of the rice and sugar cane describes the determination to build a just and prosperous society. 18 (eighteen) indicates the number of grains of rice in the sub-district of Sidoarjo regency.

4. Milkfish and shrimp fish form the letters “S”
symbolizes : Results ponds in Sidoarjo regency. Form of a letter “ S " of fish and shrimp fish show the first letter of Sidoarjo

Meaning of colors in the color of the symbol used in Sidoarjo Regency

1. The blue color in water illustrate the symbol means that the Sidoarjo regency is famous for its name:  "DELTA Brantas " surrounded by river and sea water. Aquamarine apart in a circle of rice and sugar cane means water which illustrates that the area is an area of ponds in Sidoarjo district that produces lots of fish and shrimp fishing.
2. Green describes the basic color of fertility Sidoarjo regency (Delta Brantas)
3. Yellow color to the star, rice, sugarcane and ribbons depict the welfare of the people of Sidoarjo regency
4. Black color on the sugar cane, fish, shrimp and fish in the literature describe the firmness of faith of the people of Sidoarjo regency of Sidoarjo regency.
5. Color Gray milkfish and shrimp fishing complementary colors.

In addition, the Sidoarjo cultured society life with clean, neat, harmonious, green, healthy, beautiful and comfortable.
